Firmenschauspiel website
Marco Zbinden is an actor and a corporate coach. His new business, Firmenschauspiel, needed a site that read as professional without being stiff, and was impossible to mistake for anyone else's.
The brief asked for three things at once: modern, informal, and professional-looking. Those tend to pull in different directions. The answer was a clean, minimal site that left room for personality rather than fighting it.
That personality came from custom illustrations by Benjamin Burger, a graphic designer and illustrator I worked with on the project. His drawings cut against the restraint of the layout and did the quiet work of explaining coaching, a discipline whose methods aren't always obvious at a glance. Ben led the illustration and overall direction; I handled the design of the site and every technical and coding decision behind it.
Under the hood it was WordPress once again, familiar enough that the whole thing went from brief to live in two working weeks.
Coaching is hard to photograph, so we drew it instead.
